La-Z-Boy is set to open a fourth San Antonio location as part of its broader Century Vision expansion, a five-year plan to establish up to 60 stores ahead of the company's 100th anniversary in 2027. The Michigan-based furniture brand, renowned for inventing the first recliner in 1928, is investing $2 million in a 12,000-square-foot store at 14611 W. Interstate 10, near Pecan Springs Road, with completion expected by September 2026.

The brand already operates three stores across San Antonio's West, North, and Northeast sides, as well as a location in New Braunfels. La-Z-Boy's portfolio in the area is complemented by sister brands including Rooms To Go, Furniture Row, Hoelscher's Furniture, and Starcke Furniture Co.
The retailer offers a range of upholstered products, from recliners and sofas to love seats, chairs, and ottomans, targeting consumers seeking both comfort and style. The expansion aligns with La-Z-Boy's Century Vision strategy to accelerate growth, enhance market reach, and reinforce brand presence in key urban areas.
By investing in larger, strategically located stores, La-Z-Boy aims to strengthen its competitive position in the furniture market while continuing to capitalise on its reputation for innovation, quality craftsmanship, and comfort-focused design.
