Polish furniture manufacturer Black Red White (BRW) has announced plans for collective layoffs affecting around 800 employees across multiple locations, the District Labor Office in Biłgoraj confirmed. The restructuring will begin in November 2025 and continue through December 2026, with the largest number of departures expected by March 2026.

The layoffs will impact staff across all professional groups, including production, logistics, administration, and sales. Plants affected include sites in Biłgoraj County, Andrychów, Dachnów, Jelcz-Laskowice, Łódź, Mielec, Ożarów Mazowiecki, Poznań, Pruszcz Gdański, Słupy, Warsaw, and Zamość, with additional individual redundancies planned in Bartoszyce, Bydgoszcz, Chorzów, Gorzów Wielkopolski, Iława, Jastrzębie-Zdrój, Katowice, Konin, Kraków, Leszno, Lubartów, Lublin, Mysłowice, Nidzica, Przeworsk, Ruda Śląska, Sopot, Sosnowiec, Stargard Szczeciński, Świlcza, Wągrowiec, Wieluń, and Zgierz.
The Biłgoraj County Employment Office noted that roughly 150 jobs are expected to be lost in its local plants. The decision underscores ongoing challenges in Poland's furniture sector and the company's need to restructure operations amid shifting market conditions.
