Cattelan Italia expands its seating collection with two new lounge chairs, Greta Lounge and Ruby Lounge, designed for both residential and contract environments, combining artisanal quality with contemporary aesthetics.

The Greta Lounge chair, an evolution of the existing Greta armchair, is inspired by the theme of contrast. Designed for living rooms or study areas, it offers a peaceful retreat with a seat separated from a soft cushion that integrates the backrest and armrests into a single padded form. The shaped backrest and upholstered armrests provide comfort and support, while the three-legged base, crafted from elliptical metal tubing with a split rear leg, creates a distinctive vertical line and imparts lightness to the silhouette. The interplay of solid and empty spaces, metal surfaces, and soft padding generates a dynamic aesthetic suitable for diverse interiors. The Greta family now includes a padded armchair, a kitchen stool with armrests, and this new Lounge version.
Alongside Greta, Ruby Lounge, designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio, combines Scandinavian-inspired purity with ergonomic comfort. Its wooden frame ensures durability and high quality, while the high-density polyurethane foam cushioning provides optimal support. The armrests blend seamlessly into the backrest, creating a smooth, inviting silhouette, and visible stitching emphasises artisanal craftsmanship and authentic Italian know-how. Ruby Lounge is designed to harmonise with both residential settings and lounge areas.
