Atlas Concorde has unveiled Nyra, a new collection of stone-effect ceramic surfaces designed by Alberto Apostoli, inspired by the principles of Wellness Architecture. Developed for hospitality, contract, and residential projects, Nyra is conceived to foster multisensory environments where visual, tactile, and emotional interactions converge to support wellbeing.

Drawing from the tactile presence and visual diversity of natural stone, Nyra also references materials such as cork and textiles, reinterpreted in their essential characteristics through a modern design language. Apostoli explains: "The goal of Wellness Architecture is to express a new paradigm for imagining space, with the individual at its centre. Considered not merely in terms of the efficiency of layout and function, but above all in relation to emotion, space becomes an environment that nurtures the individual and surrounds them with beneficial sensations, conveyed through a sensory harmony emanating from the materials in a reciprocal dialogue."
The collection includes seven colourways, Star, Hay, Sunlight, Mist, Meteor, Charcoal, and Ambrosia, spanning luminous whites, creams, greys, and blacks, alongside chromatically rich conglomerates with natural inclusions for added depth and realism.
Nyra offers versatile design solutions: it can be used for walls, floors, countertops, furniture customisation, and even 3D structures, mosaics, and decorative elements. Two three-dimensional surfaces, 3D Saddle and 3D Qube, bring artisanal stone working traditions to modern interiors, creating dynamic effects through grooves and geometric textures. Mosaic variations, Favus and Opus, draw inspiration from honeycomb structures and ancient Roman tiling techniques.
Apostoli emphasises Nyra's immersive approach: "Nyra's strength lies in its ability to create an 'other' environment that dissolves the perceived barriers between interior and exterior, forming a seamless continuum. The result is a singular aesthetic whole composed of a new, living, and vibrant material."
Nyra inaugurates Nyra World, a platform dedicated to Atlas Concorde's latest innovations in stone-effect ceramics, where architects and designers can explore a spectrum of finishes, tones, and textures realised through the brand's advanced technology and expertise in international ceramics.
With Nyra, Atlas Concorde reinforces the potential of materials to define space not only through appearance but also through sensory engagement, aligning with the growing European focus on design that nurtures wellbeing and emotional comfort.
