The investment is channelled through Business Development Denmark and targets multiple areas: DKK 312.5 million for general SME development, DKK 258.5 million for the Business Lighthouses III programme promoting solutions to societal challenges, DKK 272.2 million for green transition and circular economy initiatives, DKK 121.75 million for entrepreneurship support including events such as TechBBQ, DKK 25 million to expand acceleration for unmanned systems, and DKK 15 million for digital tools to simplify SME operations and product development.

Christian Motzfeldt of the Danish Business Development Board highlighted that the programmes are informed by extensive input from thousands of companies and evidence-based approaches. The investment aims to prepare SMEs for future challenges, enhance innovation, and improve their sustainability and digital capabilities, reinforcing Denmark's commitment to nurturing a competitive and resilient business sector.
