Valencian interior designer José Montesinos Valls has been named the winner of the InterCIDEC 2025 Awards for his groundbreaking project "OUTSIDETHEBOX," a concept that redefines the traditional hotel suite experience. The awards ceremony, organized by Beltá-Frajumar to celebrate its 10th anniversary, took place in Yecla, Murcia, gathering nearly 200 professionals from the hospitality, architecture, and design industries.

The international jury, featuring experts from Spain, Portugal, France, Mexico, the United States, and the Dominican Republic, commended Montesinos' work for its daring conceptual vision and fluid spatial design. "OUTSIDETHEBOX" transforms conventional hotel accommodation into a multi-purpose environment that engages the senses and emotions, maximizing spatial efficiency while fostering creativity and comfort.
This 10th edition of the InterCIDEC Awards reinforced the event's global influence, with 44 projects submitted from more than ten countries including Italy, Germany, Mexico, and Argentina. Honorable mentions were awarded to GAP Interiorismo for "Suite Risseu" and Tocho Studio for "La Invitación." The ceremony also featured a presentation by renowned chef Pablo González Conejero and a panel discussion on "The Evolution of Hotel Design: From Visual Luxury to Emotional Experience," moderated by Joaquín Gómez, director of INFO.
With its continued focus on creativity and innovation, InterCIDEC remains a leading platform for international hospitality design. The next edition will take place in Seville on October 29, 2026, continuing its mission to inspire new visions for the future of hotel interiors.
