The world's leading trade fair for lighting and building-services technology, Light + Building, is set to open its doors in Frankfurt am Main from 8 to 13 March 2026. The event will bring together around 2,000 companies from Germany and abroad, including market leaders, innovative newcomers, and creative start-ups, all shaping the future of the sector.

Under the motto "Be Electrified – Electrifying Places. Illuminating Spaces," Light + Building 2026 will showcase the dual strengths of the industry: smart energy infrastructure and the creative power of light.
The fair will highlight three key themes:
- Sustainable Transformation: Climate-friendly building solutions, renewable energies, and resource-saving materials.
- Smart Connectivity: Digitalisation, connected systems, data-based control, and energy-efficient infrastructure.
- Living Light: The emotional and creative potential of light as a defining element of wellbeing and spatial experience.
