Led by Henriëtte van Beynum, CEO of Beddinghouse, the Dutch team included Boudewijn Mol, Director, and Sandra Bruinse, Impact and ESG Advisor at Invest International. Khan highlighted the Netherlands' significance as Pakistan's second-largest export destination within the European Union and fifth worldwide, with bilateral trade showing steady growth. He praised Beddinghouse's long-standing partnership with Pakistan's textile industry, currently valued at over £30 million annually, and its leadership in promoting ethical sourcing and environmentally conscious production.

Khan also commended Beddinghouse's plan to open a permanent sourcing office in Pakistan, viewing it as a strong vote of confidence in the country's manufacturing capabilities and skilled workforce. He reaffirmed the Ministry of Commerce's full support for the initiative, emphasising Pakistan's commitment to aligning its certification, labour, and compliance frameworks with European Union standards. The collaboration underscores Pakistan's growing focus on sustainability in textiles and its ambition to strengthen its global position as a responsible and competitive exporter.
