This surge is largely driven by three major acquisitions in 2024, Roslev Trælasthandel, CF Petersen & Søn, and Tømmergaarden, which together added 26 stores and expanded Davidsens Tømmerhandel's geographic footprint across Denmark. CEO Henrik Clausen highlighted that the acquisitions were chosen for their strong local roots, customer focus, and business acumen.
The chain also benefited from rising demand in Denmark, Poland, and the Baltic countries. Davidsen emphasises that its decentralised, locally-focused operational model, supported by a strengthened back office, has enabled it to integrate new locations effectively and manage rapid growth.
