Global sourcing platform
Jinhan Fair continues to position itself as a sourcing hub for both returning and new buyers in the home and gifts sector. Wolfgang Ladiges of Florissima GmbH (Germany), a buyer with more than 20 years of participation, said, "I've lost count of how many times I've been here – Jinhan Fair is our go-to sourcing hub for the German market." He added that he met with 50 to 60 suppliers, focusing on home décor and garden products, noting that "Chinese products consistently deliver great value for money and hold a strong position in Germany."
Returning buyers emphasised efficiency and reliability, while first-time visitors also engaged with suppliers. Amal, a new buyer from the UAE, said, "Jinhan Fair offers such a wide range of innovative and customised products, showcasing how professional and dependable Chinese suppliers are."
Mustafa Yolalmaz from Wall Studio (Turkey), a regular since 2008, highlighted the role of customisation. "I come to China because I like 'Made in China.' The products perfectly meet my needs for outfitting more than 1,000 hotel rooms," he said.
The fair's audience now reflects a more diverse geographic distribution, with mature Western markets maintaining a solid base and emerging markets representing an increasingly larger share of buyers.
Consumer trends and design innovation
Exhibitors at this edition showcased products responding to evolving consumer demands for sustainability, functionality, and material diversity. Materials such as solid wood, rattan, woven ropes, nutshells, and biodegradable options were featured, alongside formaldehyde-free processes. Multi-functional products, including pet-friendly furniture, integrated outdoor shading and lighting solutions, and voice-interactive toys, were present.
Li Xiaoqiang, Head of Marketing at Suzhou Solargy New Energy Technology, described the role of technology: "Technological innovation is key to standing out," noting that their solar-integrated shading systems generated several intent orders on the first day.
Jane Zhou, Sales Manager at first-time exhibitor Zhong Shan Uniarts Home Decor, explained their material-focused approach: "We don't follow trends blindly. We tell our design story through material innovation." She added that their use of cork, cement, and 1mm-thick soft stone lampshades attracted interest from buyers in Europe and the Middle East.

Guangdong Yitai Ceramics focused on differentiated products for niche markets. General Manager Li Bihan said, "We no longer compete on price, but on added value," highlighting their attention to quality, supply chain management, and after-sales services.
Longyou Hobby Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd. integrated AI into its design process. General Manager Hu Haibo explained, "AI now helps generate 60 design proposals daily, with over 30 implemented into production," allowing faster innovation and broader selection for buyers.
