"At Cotlin Raw, we believe that the new does not have to forget its origin. Only then are we able to stay true to our leitmotif, The New Ancestral: a reconciliation between the ancient and the new, where ancestral traditions are not just relics of the past, but a foundation for creating a new contemporary identity," the brand explained.
The Totem and Morse collections explore New Zealand wool and cotton through hand-knotted and flat-woven techniques. Totem features soft, enveloping surfaces, while Morse oscillates between subtle textures and sculptural reliefs, reinterpreting the Indian hand-knotted tradition through a contemporary lens.

The Gather collection introduces abaca fibre, a strong, sustainable material previously unexplored by the brand, worked using the crochet technique. This combination of fibre and technique produces distinctive surfaces, where "the firm and resilient nature bends, curls, and adapts to the gesture, bringing character and uniqueness to each piece."
Cotlin Raw's Malla collection blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor environments. Woven in polypropylene, these rugs are designed for relaxed atmospheres, combining durability and ease of maintenance with aesthetic appeal.
