Katarzyna Sławińska of Tilla Architects designed a 47-square-meter apartment near Warsaw that demonstrates how bold colours can uplift mood. Inspired by the client's love for dogs, travel, and photography, the interior combines vibrant hues, orange, pink, and green—with off-white and gray terrazzo, creating an energetic yet balanced space.

Key design highlights:
- Entrance mural: Abstract and full of movement, setting the tone for the interior.
- Kitchen and living area: Olive cabinetry paired with light gray and terrazzo softens the palette while maintaining vibrancy. The kitchen island serves as both a practical workspace and the home's social hub.
- Living room: Modern eclecticism with geometric furniture and warm wood tones. An orange sofa provides a focal point.
- Office: Pastel geometric shapes evoke the Memphis style, balanced with neutral cabinetry and subtle pink accents.
- Bedroom: A calm retreat using beige and pink tones, gold hardware, hand-painted wall motifs, and soft lighting.
Functionality is central: practical storage, discreet technology (Gira solutions), and ergonomic layouts ensure comfort without compromising aesthetics. The project emphasises the emotional impact of colour, balancing energy with harmony in a small but highly personalised space.
