The Nordic division of Germany's Dauphin HumanDesign Group, reported a deficit of DKK 3.6 million for the 2024 fiscal year, leaving only 105 kroner in its cash register. Management of Dauphin Scandinavia, described the results as "very unsatisfactory," attributing the downturn to weak demand for office furnishings amid fewer new commercial developments and intensified price competition. Gross profit fell to DKK 3.9 million from DKK 10.8 million in 2023, while equity more than halved to DKK 2.6 million.

Despite these challenges, the company remains optimistic. Cost-saving measures are expected to take full effect in the second half of 2025, and the bank has maintained its credit limit. Management anticipates a positive result for the year based on existing contracts and plans to negotiate extended payment terms with suppliers.

Since its 1990 establishment, Dauphin Scandinavia has functioned as the Nordic distributor for the parent company, providing wood and wood veneer furniture alongside office seating. The company continues to focus on delivering ergonomic and designer office solutions, aiming to recover market share and stabilise operations in the coming year.
