JYSK Uruguay has opened its second store in Punta Carretas, signalling strong consumer interest in Scandinavian design that is "simple, functional and accessible." The store's opening weekend saw high foot traffic, festive activations, and enthusiastic engagement from local shoppers.

The new location was chosen to better serve an urban and diverse audience. Customers can explore JYSK's full range, including furniture, mattresses, bedding, bathroom items, décor, textiles, curtains, duvets and pillows.
Alongside the store launch, JYSK's nationwide online platform, jysk.uy, is now active, making its products available across Uruguay. The company has also confirmed two additional openings in 2026, at Tres Cruces Shopping and Car One Punta del Este.
JYSK, part of a global network of over 3,500 stores across 50 countries, continues to expand its footprint, aiming to bring Scandinavian design to more homes in Uruguay and strengthen its regional presence.
