Anyone who follows the furniture sector closely knows that Confortluxe rarely stands still. The Belgian-French manufacturer, which operates under the names Confortluxe and Lievens, is in full swing and is opting for a striking presence at the Brussels Furniture Fair this autumn. With a stand of no less than 750 m², the company wants to send out a powerful signal: Belgium is a growth market of stature.
For years, Confortluxe's focus was mainly on the French market, but those days are over. Thanks to its strategic location on the Franco-Belgian border, the manufacturer can now respond optimally to Flemish style and taste. "We still see a lot of growth potential in Belgium," says Filip Van de Vyvere, commercial director at Confortluxe. "Our approach aims to link quality with commercial accessibility. Thanks to high-quality materials, such as pocket spring seats in our salons, and fast delivery from stock at Lievens, we clearly stand out from the crowd."

A stand that breathes experience
During Furniture Fair Brussels, from 2 to 5 November, Confortluxe is unpacking an open and inviting stand. No traditional set-up, but a concept where experience is central. The manufacturer expects to welcome more than 500 customers from both Belgium and France. "Visitors can not only discover new products with us, but also find inspiration for the shop floor," says Van de Vyvere. "We are showing a range of completely new models; not just salons, but also tables, chairs and box springs, which surprise both aesthetically and technically."

New collections with comfort and sense of form
At the fair, Confortluxe will present 20 new lounge models, complemented by reworked bestsellers. The emphasis is on flowing lines, soft textures and natural tones such as beige and olive green. New features include seats with electrically adjustable seats, adjustable armrests and other relaxation functions that enhance comfort levels.
Models such as Vidar, finished in bouclé fabric, and the motorised Éloise combine contemporary elegance with practical ease of use. "We notice that consumers today are looking for furniture that is both beautiful and functional," says Van de Vyvere. "Our new collections respond perfectly to that need."
Lievens innovates with ceramics and Belgian craftsmanship
Sister brand Lievens is also taking advantage of the fair to innovate. The brand is introducing a range of new tables and chairs, including models with travertine ceramic tops. In addition, Lievens presents several extendable and pivoting tables - designs that combine functionality with refined design.
One of the eye-catchers is Lyra, a ceramic table with a striking wooden leg. Furthermore, Lievens is showing a new model in Belgian melamine, produced entirely locally.

Responding to changing living behaviour
The furniture market is evolving rapidly: large ranges of cupboards are making way for bar furniture, high tables and spacious sofas. Confortluxe anticipates this with flexible collections to suit contemporary interiors. "People live differently than in the past; more informal, more multifunctional," says Van de Vyvere. "We consciously respond to this with smart, comfortable solutions."
With the right mix of design, comfort and competitive prices, Confortluxe seems poised to firmly establish its position in Belgium. Its participation at Furniture Fair Brussels underlines that ambition: the manufacturer not only wants to show itself, but also to prove that it is an enduring role player in the Belgian living world.
