The new Battersea Kutchenhaus is owned by kitchen industry expert Toma Ferguson.
"I'm very proud to open this new showroom, which is in a completely new commercial space in the heart of Battersea," said Toma. "It's a vibrant area, perfect for families and young professionals, with coffee shops, restaurants, other retail close by as well as two private schools and Battersea Power Station. When I found this location, I truly fell in love with it. I've always wanted to open my own showroom in London and the new business will bring something fresh to this area in South West London."
Housed beneath Battersea's train arches, the showroom retains the building's original character, preserving steel columns and exposed beams while adding curtains, armchairs, and rugs for warmth and style. "Located in an arch beneath the train tracks, our showroom has been designed to respect the building's original character, preserving the steel columns and exposed beams while introducing softer touches such as curtains, armchairs, and rugs. These elements add a sense of warmth and design flair that make the space truly unique. Bright and spacious, with arched windows on both sides, it's a place we can't wait for more customers to discover. It's more than just a kitchen showroom, it's an experience!"
Toma collaborated with local London companies, including J. Adams & Co, Ecohardwood Flooring, UK Resin Floors, Hendel & Hendel, and A&G Renovations, ensuring the space reflects both craftsmanship and community.
Reflecting on her journey, Toma said: "From a young age I've been interested in design and architecture. LEGO was my favourite toy! Following my move to England at just 20 years old, I studied and then graduated from the University of the Arts London and set my sights on increasing my skill set. My parents had multiple retail businesses in Lithuania, and I always enjoyed the commercial aspect, combined with the customer experience. For me, this new venture is about inspiring people and creating beautiful moments, instances where I can see a person is really delighted with their finished kitchen. This is hugely rewarding and something to be proud of."
Joining Toma at the Battersea showroom is experienced kitchen designer Natasha Sabharwal, who brings a decade of expertise in kitchen design.
Founded in 2004 and owned by nobilia, Europe's largest kitchen manufacturer, Kutchenhaus continues to expand across the UK and internationally, delivering affordable, beautifully engineered German kitchens rated 'excellent' on Trustpilot.
