Scapin Group and Vitium Technology launch Arke Vitium innovation at SICAM25

At SICAM 2025, Scapin Group announced an exclusive partnership with Vitium Technology, unveiling the Arke Vitium technology, a breakthrough in the processing of mineral surfaces. The collaboration aims to elevate the aesthetics and performance of engineered stone, offering unprecedented realism and design freedom for furniture and interior applications.

Under the agreement, Marmo Arredo, Scapin Group's material processing division, will act as the exclusive partner for Arke Vitium in Italy, overseeing industrial-scale applications and commercialisation. Internationally, fabricators can adopt the technology on Quartzforms® slabs developed to ensure full compatibility with the Arke Vitium process.

Marco Scapin, Art Director of Scapin Group, said:
"The collaboration with Vitium Technology represents a natural step in the path of innovation that has always guided Scapin Group. We believe in research as a tool to overcome the limits of the material and to offer the design world new expressive possibilities. Arke Vitium perfectly embodies this vision: a technology capable of combining aesthetics and ingenuity, taking engineered stone to a level of realism and design freedom never before achieved."

Arke Vitium technology marks the latest milestone in Scapin Group's R&D journey, combining expertise from Quartzforms®, Marmo Arredo, and Vitium Technology. The process begins with a custom Quartzforms® slab, cut and drilled to the project's specifications — whether for kitchen countertops, tables, or bespoke furniture elements. The slab is then positioned on a customised machine, where a precise texturing process reproduces the veins and nuances of natural stone, continuing seamlessly across edges.

The resulting material achieves a three-dimensional, monolithic effect while maintaining superior technical performance, offering designers and architects both visual impact and functionality. The innovation highlights Scapin Group's ongoing commitment to pushing material boundaries and redefining surface aesthetics in contemporary interiors.
