Potocco presents the Hug versions of its celebrated Velis and Trousse seating collections, both designed by Mario Ferrarini. The new editions reinterpret the concept of comfort through softer lines, wider seats and more generous proportions, offering a fresh, tactile dimension to everyday living.

"In the Hug editions of Velis and Trousse, both collections signed by Mario Ferrarini, Potocco unveils a new dimension of comfort. Characterised by wider seats and more generous volumes, Velis Hug and Trousse Hug are conceived to embrace and complete everyday gestures, whether in residential or contract settings."
The Velis Hug collection exemplifies Made in Italy craftsmanship, where structure and upholstery merge seamlessly "in a fluid, continuous gesture." Defined by its refined balance between form and function, Velis Hug expands upon the original collection's exploration of the relationship between structure and upholstery. The visible ash or Canaletto walnut frame enriches the design with material depth, while the wider, enveloping seat enhances comfort. The Hug variant includes the armless chair, armchair, and tub armchair, each reflecting Potocco's hallmark attention to detail and understated sophistication.
Equally elegant, the Trousse Hug collection offers a discreet and sophisticated language, translating the same design philosophy into a more delicate aesthetic. "Trousse Hug, with its delicate profile and enveloping seat, translates the same philosophy into a discreet and sophisticated language, capable of adapting to diverse environments." The range includes a chair with or without armrest, an armchair, and a stool in two heights. Designed to adapt seamlessly across interiors, from residential spaces to hospitality and contract projects, Trousse Hug maintains its personality while harmonising effortlessly with its surroundings.
