About 250 people were evacuated from the Ikea store in Wembley after a fire broke out on the building's roof, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) has reported. Around 100 solar panels caught alight just after 10:30 BST on Drury Way, north-west London.

Five fire engines and approximately 30 firefighters attended the scene, with crews from Park Royal, Wembley, Willesden and North Kensington working to control the blaze. The LFB received about a dozen calls alerting them to the fire.
The brigade confirmed that there were no reports of injuries. Firefighters remain on site dampening down hotspots.
The incident highlights the potential risks associated with solar panel installations on commercial buildings. Ikea, known for its Swedish furniture stores across the UK, is continuing operations at other locations while investigations into the cause of the fire are likely to follow.
The LFB urged the public to remain vigilant and follow official guidance during such incidents.
