Outdoor Living platform grows to an international level

Brussels Furniture Fair emerges from the wings

A few more weeks and the Brussels Furniture Fair 2025 will kick off. Behind the scenes, there is still a lot of work being done, but the spotlights are already in place. The fair plan is 99% known and has a lot of beauty in store this year. Time to lift a tip of the veil.

Outdoor Living
The seed has turned into a seedling! The seed planted last year for the launch of a quality Outdoor Living platform is sprouting and growing to an international level. This year we already welcome Roolf Living, Wünder, Umbrosa, Tooon by Toon De Somer, Chill Line, Richmond, Mazu, Soho, and Gescova.

Outdoor Living also comes with an outdoor drink: "Our Belgian mocktail bar provides the necessary refreshment on this island."

Brussels by Night
Keeps on booming! The project that started in 2022 is already bearing fruit after a few years. What we are now seeing is cross-pollination. After Adova and Oschmann Betten last year and many Dutch players since 2023, we notice even broader international interest. This year we welcome Schramm Betten, Harrison Spinks, le sommeil Français, Aya of Sweden and others. And more and more manufacturers from our own country are finding their way back to Brussels, including LS Bedding, Belgian Bedding, and Meubelfabriek Jooken.

"But the most important thing is, of course, offering continuity; we do that with our well-known exhibitors Revor Bedding, Equilli, Kreamat, Polypreen, Van Landschoot, Adova, Hilding Anders, Nill spring, Recor Bedding, Aya of Sweden, Mahoton, Carlina, Brinkhaus, and many more," a spokeswoman said.

Contract
"Our offer gets a little broader every year and that goes hand in hand with reaching a wider audience. We notice that more and more furniture manufacturers are focusing on the hospitality and office industries alongside furniture retail. These provide support when private spending on home furnishing decreases."

Exhibitors who also focus on the contract market have long been recognizable at the fair via the contract logo on plan and name board. "We directly address their audience by participating in events such as the hotel business event on September 25 and direct mailing to buyers, interior designers, and decision-makers within the project market."

Belgian Design Island
The Belgian Design Island is ripe to find its way to Hall 5. This hub for design and decor objects receives a light makeover involving design in creating the entrance area. "This move also perfectly fits within our philosophy. Give youth and talent a worthy chance."

Students, young enterprises, established values, and start-ups. They are all covered here and are ready to welcome retailers, manufacturers, and interior designers. Now to be experienced at the front of Hall 5!
