"LAUFEN's new Luminex bathtub is inspired by the energising power of light and colour which have been used, since ancient times, to improve our mental and physical balance," the company explains. Through LED technology and a high-tech remote control, users can adjust light intensity and choose colour settings to match their mood. The velvety, warm-touch surface retains heat for longer, encouraging sustainable water use and prolonged relaxation.
Complementing this innovation is MySpa, a digital shower system designed in collaboration with Andreas Dimitriadis (platinumdesign). It orchestrates water, light and sound through an intuitive control unit, offering customisable experiences from invigorating to meditative. Integrated LED panels, ambient lighting, hidden storage and advanced shower elements adapt seamlessly to individual moods.
Thanks to its modular structure, MySpa can range from a simple set-up to a luxury model, offering features such as illuminated storage, diverse shower heads and immersive soundscapes. Whether awakening to the sounds of the sea or relaxing in a candlelit glow, MySpa transforms daily cleansing into a moment of renewal.
LAUFEN's design vision is also showcased at the Suite of Novotel by ALL.com inside Paris' Parc des Princes — the first permanent hotel suite within a European football stadium — where the new MySpa features prominently.
