ProCook achieves record growth as expansion drives sales

Cookware retailer ProCook reported a record first half performance, with total sales rising 25% year-on-year to £21.3m for the 16 weeks to 12 October, marking its eighth consecutive quarter of growth. First half sales were up 20.6% to £34.1m.

Retail sales climbed 25% to £13.9m, including 5.9% like-for-like growth, supported by six new shop openings. Online sales rose 25.5% to £7.4m, with a 23.2% like-for-like increase and a relaunch on Amazon UK.

ProCook credited the results to "improved commercial discipline" and strategic progress in marketing, store expansion, and retail service standards. CEO Lee Tappenden said: "With momentum building, a record number of customers shopping with us, and expanded ranges and number of stores, we are well positioned for the peak trading period."

The business plans four additional store openings ahead of Black Friday and Christmas. ProCook remains on track to achieve its medium-term target of 100 UK stores, £100m revenue, and a 10% operating profit margin, despite challenging economic conditions.

In its 2025 annual results, ProCook also reported a 60% increase in underlying pre-tax profit to £1.5m, up from £1m the previous year, significantly outperforming the UK kitchenware market.
