Minotti unveils new flagship store in Riyadh

Minotti has strengthened its presence in the Middle East with the opening of its new flagship store in Riyadh, located in the heart of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). Developed in collaboration with long-standing partner Gallery Design, the showroom brings the brand's refined lifestyle to one of the most vibrant and evolving urban areas of the Saudi capital.

The new 620-square-metre showroom, the result of Minotti Studio's creative vision, is housed within a deconstructivist-inspired building distinguished by three glass façades that reveal an immersive interior journey. The design draws inspiration from the architectural arch — reinterpreted through a contemporary lens — and features a palette of white travertine, plaster, Wengé oak, and limestone. Two open-air areas, on both the ground floor and mezzanine, seamlessly integrate the outdoors into the heart of the showroom, creating "a harmonious dialogue between interior and exterior, evoking the tradition of both the Roman domus and the Arab house."

Upon entry, visitors are welcomed into a double-height living area furnished with the Yves seating system by Hannes Peer. The exhibition continues through the Horizonte and Bézier sofas by Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27, divided by a sculptural travertine fireplace that serves as the focal point of the space. A semi-spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine level, where meeting rooms and a master bedroom — featuring the Supermoon Bed by Giampiero Tagliaferri — offer layered perspectives designed to enhance the visitor experience.

Art plays a defining role in the new Riyadh flagship, with works by Nisreen & Nermeen Abudail, Muhannad Shono, Nasser Al Salem, and Helidon Xhixha enriching the conversation between design, architecture, and culture. Xhixha's sculpture The Moon occupies a striking position within the staircase arch, "reflecting the light and transforming into a suspended, celestial form, evocative and ever-changing."

The Minotti Riyadh flagship embodies a cosmopolitan spirit, serving as a cultural and sensory destination where Made in Italy craftsmanship harmonises with local identity. As the brand continues its international expansion, the new store stands as "a truly sensory and cultural journey through design," uniting Italian artistry with the evolving architectural landscape of Saudi Arabia.
