Founded in 2018, the Bradford-based family business, Bell & Stocchero, gained recognition for producing sustainable, handcrafted furniture for kitchens, bedrooms, and living rooms. The auction includes 290 lots of furniture, such as beds, wardrobes, cabinets, chairs, oak dining tables, and drawers in various finishes including oak and mahogany.
In addition to furniture, operational equipment such as vehicles, tools, ironmongery, and signage will also be offered. All items can be viewed online through the auction platform.
Dan Hey, director at Walker Singleton, stated: "Bell & Stocchero has enjoyed a strong reputation as a manufacturer of modern, handcrafted furniture. The wide range of items available in the auction will appeal to a variety of buyers, whether they're furniture retailers looking for new stock or individuals wanting to furnish their homes."
The closure marks the end of a seven-year period in which Bell & Stocchero established itself within the UK furniture market, with a focus on artisanal quality and sustainability. The online auction provides an opportunity for buyers to acquire both stock and equipment from the now-defunct company.
