ASCO Möbel and KFF are arriving at IDD Cologne this October with a clear focus on collaboration, innovation, and creating meaningful experiences for their clients. For CEO Jens Lewe, the fair provides an opportunity to present the brands' latest collections in an open and inviting environment. 'The idea is to create a more social experience, no big walls between us, just a space where we can welcome guests for a coffee and good conversation,' he explains.
After more than 40 years in the industry, Jens emphasises that nurturing relationships remains as important as showcasing design, and exhibiting alongside COR, Kettnaker, and Möller Design reflects a commitment to both partnership and engagement. For interior professionals, this approach signals a shift from traditional trade fair structures to more flexible, client-focused presentations that foster genuine connections.

Introducing GAIA and FORTE
Visitors can expect a series of brand-new designs from both KFF and ASCO Möbel. KFF presents the GAIA chair by Monica Armani, which won the German Design Award in 2019, as an outdoor version. Complementing this, KFF launches the 'YES' lounge collection, inspired by Bjarke Ingels' mantra 'Yes is more.' 'It's about positivity, curiosity, and embracing opportunities,' Jens explains, values reflected in the collection's inviting design.

ASCO Möbel introduces the FORTE table, also by Monica Armani, crafted from ash with a distinctive central rail system. Minimalist yet expressive, FORTE combines rounded edges, flowing lines, and an integrated groove that can hold optional wooden bowls, highlighting the material's natural beauty. Robust yet elegant, it serves as a versatile centerpiece in dining or meeting spaces, encouraging conversation and inspiration. Both collections showcase timeless, functional furniture that prioritizes comfort and well-being over fleeting trends. 'It's very refined and distinctive. And simply, much more aesthetically pleasing,' Jens says.

timeless design and meaningful experiences
Central to ASCO and KFF's philosophy is a focus on longevity and human experience. 'We don't make fashion,' Jens explains. 'Our customers use our furniture for 15 years or more. We design not for trends that fade, but for feelings that last, comfort, happiness, and a sense of well-being. The furniture is important, but the people are the stars,' he adds. Many team members have been with the company for 25 or 30 years, and Jens emphasises the value of long-term relationships with clients, which remain a cornerstone of their approach.

Future optimism
IDD Cologne provides ASCO Möbel and KFF with a platform to showcase their latest work while reaffirming their commitment to quality and innovation. 'There are too many no's at the moment,' Jens reflects. 'However the question is phrased, the answer is yes.' With the GAIA Outdoor Chair, the YES lounge collection, and the FORTE table, the brands combine design excellence, functional innovation, and positive energy. For interior designers, architects, and buyers, the message is clear: ASCO and KFF offer furniture that is not only visually compelling, but enduring, thoughtful, and uplifting.
As Jens concludes, 'If we didn't believe in the future, we wouldn't go there. And for us, that belief begins with one word: yes.'
