Dôme Deco presents Vellum, its new annual collection for 2026, directly derived from an extensive trend analysis of contemporary interior needs. Vellum translates macro trends into a collection that 'shines subtly rather than shines brightly': soft, refined, and tactilely inviting. The new collection will be presented at Dôme Deco's November Home Show.

Philosophy
The name and philosophy of Vellum summarize the concept: "A whisper of softness in space and light. Design that glows, rather than shines." A translation of the desire for subtle, intermediate quality in form and finish. The collection seeks the balance between light and shadow, soft curves and clean lines, transparency and solidity. In short: the 'intermediate space' that makes concepts eloquent without being intrusive.
From trend to product
Dôme Deco has translated the concept principles into concrete product choices: stylized, structured silhouettes softened by tactile contrasts; seating with rich, textured upholstery; tables and surfaces with light ceramic and marble accents; lighting that adds sculptural coziness, and accents in polished metal to add subtle reflection without disturbing the softness. This product translation ensures that each object in the collection has both independent character and harmoniously works together within a layered interior setup.

Color and material choice
Vellum speaks a subdued yet rich color language. While global color trends vary from Transformative Teal to Amber Haze and draw inspiration from Modern West and Rustic Revival palettes, Vellum opts for its own, layered base palette: Nomad Rouge, Dusky Haze, and Shadow Jade. Shades that bring tranquility, depth, and a subtle cosmopolitan signature.
Materials and textures form the heart of the collection: warm wood tones, rich marble accents, intriguing fabrics, timeless ceramics, and colored glass are combined with polished and matte metals and buttery, lived-in leathers. This material mix supports the idea of layering and tactile contrasts (rough vs. smooth, matte vs. gloss). The idea of the dialogue between transparency and solidity translates into the hardness of the different materials.
