Specialist furniture manufacturer has reported a decline in sales, with turnover falling below £200 million for the year ending 31 December 2024. Total sales dropped 5.8% to £190.1 million, down from £202 million in 2023.

UK revenues for Senator fell to £131.9 million from £140.3 million, EU sales slightly decreased to £5.4 million from £5.7 million, while non-EU sales declined to £52.7 million from £56 million. Pre-tax profit also fell sharply to £5.2 million, compared with £12.8 million the previous year.
Despite the downturn, the company expressed confidence in its long-term strategy. Its report stated: "2025 has started well and the Directors remain confident of their strategy to continue to deliver sustainable long-term growth and profitability."
Senator manufactures furniture for office, hospitality, healthcare, and home markets. The results highlight the challenges faced in both domestic and international markets but underscore the company's commitment to sustaining growth and navigating market pressures.
