imageLAND marks 40 years with a debut at the Brussels Furniture Fair

'It’s our premiere in Brussels, and this debut is just the beginning of a new chapter'

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this summer, imageLAND steps into a new chapter of its journey by joining the Brussels Furniture Fair for the very first time this November. Led by CEO Stefan Deus, the family-founded company marks this milestone with renewed energy and vision. 'For us, Brussels marks an exciting new beginning,' says Marina Deus, Sales Manager at imageLAND.

'We've been part of Paris and Frankfurt for years, but this feels like our premiere.' Founded as a family business and still proudly led as one, imageLAND has grown into one of Europe's leading suppliers of hand-painted artworks and acrylic glass prints, recently extending its range to include mirrors and carpets. 'We started as a small family company, and that spirit remains,' Marina adds. 'Our belief has always been that art should speak to everyone.'

Creative balance by global reach
Four decades on, imageLAND continues to thrive on its mix of craftsmanship and adaptability. The new collection, set to launch at the fair, embodies a fresh yet balanced aesthetic. 'It embraces the boho spirit with warm earthy colours like mocha and sand,' Marina explains, 'but also bursts of vibrant street art and playful animal portraits. Some spaces call for calm, others for character.' The company's diverse appeal has also fuelled international growth, with clients across Europe, Africa, Asia, and even the Caribbean. 'We're rooted near the German–Dutch–Belgian border, but our art travels far,' she says.

Innovation that resonates
Beyond artistry, imageLAND is increasingly focused on innovation. Its acoustic pictures combine sound-absorbing technology with fine design, addressing modern needs for beauty and wellbeing in shared spaces. 'More offices are realising how sound affects the atmosphere,' Marina notes. 'We wanted something that looks as good as it performs.' Produced entirely in Germany and made to order, the acoustic range comes in two versions, Pro and Slim, to suit different interiors and budgets. Alongside this, the company's growing carpet line, from plush indoor rugs to expressive outdoor designs, allows retailers and designers to curate cohesive interior concepts under one creative roof.

Inspired interiors
For Marina, Brussels is not just another fair, it is an opportunity to connect personally with the design and interior community. 'You can only truly appreciate our art in person,' she says. 'The textures, the techniques, the subtle layers, they come alive when you stand in front of them.' As imageLAND celebrates its milestone year, the message is clear: creativity and emotion remain at the heart of everything they do. 'We want visitors to leave inspired,' Marina concludes. 'Inspired to create the home or workspace that feels right. Empty walls can be lonely, but our art brings them to life.'
