Listone Giordano unveils Amsterdam flagship hub with Lissoni and Sadler collections

During the Glue Festival 2025, Listone Giordano, the Italian leader in high-end wooden flooring, inaugurated its new Listone Giordano Hub at Keizersgracht 447 in central Amsterdam. The flagship space celebrates the excellence of wood design, combining history, architecture, and contemporary creativity.

The 70 m² hub, conceived by Marco Carini, is dedicated to architects and designers as a place for meeting, conversation, and inspiration. Located in a historic former warehouse, the building retains original stained-glass windows and design details influenced by Gerrit Rietveld. A mirrored ceiling reflects the canals outside, creating depth and light. Collaborations with Passoni (furniture) and Panzeri (lighting) enrich the immersive design.

The Hub is open by appointment, with free entry for professionals on Fridays from 10:00 to 17:00. The opening introduced two new collections: Nui by Piero Lissoni and Trafic by Marc Sadler. Lissoni's Nui, inspired by Japanese Sashimono joinery, reflects simplicity and timeless elegance:

"This project," says Lissoni, "stems from the idea of the beauty and dignity of these large wooden planks, reminding us of what they once were, trees. I envisioned this carpenter's joint as if these trees, laid on the floor, were becoming furniture."

Brand Manager Andrea Margaritelli welcomed the collaboration:
"We are delighted to welcome Piero Lissoni to the world of Natural Genius, where the creative force of nature meets the ever-surprising energy of human creativity."

Trafic, Sadler's reinterpretation of 19th-century end-grain wood pavements, connects urban heritage with contemporary design:
"Thanks to a specialised process developed by Listone Giordano to ensure stability, we have successfully overcome the moisture-related expansion and contraction challenges that end-grain wood typically presents," explained Sadler.

Margaritelli added:
"End-grain wood is immensely fascinating, recalling an era of technological innovation and vibrant cities full of energy… Marc Sadler's interpretation gives this surface a decidedly contemporary spirit with a forward-looking message: technology and environmental respect must coexist and advance together."

With its new Amsterdam hub, Listone Giordano reaffirms its reputation for innovation, craftsmanship, and design excellence, offering the international design community a unique destination at the heart of the city's canals.
