The German furniture manufacturer Moll Funktionsmöbel remains active, despite earlier reports that the family business from Gruibingen would cease operations at the end of 2025 after nearly a century of existence. Owner Martin Moll decided to continue the company following overwhelmingly positive responses from the global dealer network. The support convinced him to carry on the family tradition. Moll will remain at the helm for now and is seeking a successor to ensure continuity.

The company is using this restart to strategically reposition itself. The organization will be simplified, focusing on efficiency and clarity. The product range will be reduced, allowing for faster and more streamlined production. At the same time, Moll is investing in further automation to strengthen its competitive edge.
For dealers and customers, the current sales discounts remain valid until October 14, 2025, with orders needing to be delivered or picked up by the end of this year. Starting October 15, 2025, a new discount system will be introduced, which is slightly more limited but, according to Moll, still close to the current level.
The previously announced order deadlines are canceled, and daily operations will continue as usual. Moll expresses great relief and gratitude for the decision to continue the business, marking a new phase for the family enterprise and ensuring continuity of nearly a century of craftsmanship.
