Servomuto presents new Huf lamp, designed by Arthur Arbesser

SERVOMUTO unveils the new look of Huf, the lamp designed for the last Milan Design Week 2025 by Arthur Arbesser, an object that blends irony, color, and personality. The Milan-based lighting design brand and the Austrian fashion and product designer continue their collaboration, enhancing the project with fabrics and graphics from the Arthur Arbesser Fall/Winter 2025 collection.

The lamp's name derives from the German word Huf, meaning "horse's hoof", referring to the U-shaped concrete base and fabric lampshade.

"We wanted to create an unpretentious lamp with a simple, effortless charm", says Arbesser. "I love playing with design, breaking away from industrial conventions with a deliberately naïve touch. Beauty, to me, lies in essentiality. And with Huf, I had the chance to unite my two creative worlds, fashion and design, through customisable lampshades featuring my own graphics".

On September 25, 2025, during Milan Fashion Week and the opening of Arthur Arbesser's new studio at 4, Via Sannio, Huf will be showcased in two striking variations, decorated with graphic motifs from the Austrian designer's Fall/Winter 2025 collection. Aquarelle Stripes explores striped patterns, reimagining them in a playful and colourful way, while Pastel Button offers a fresh take on the classic polka dot, turning it into a bold and modern geometric design. The fabrics, printed on cotton, perfectly convey the energy of Arbesser's new collection: a concise, focused mix created with upcycled materials, highlighting the brand's innovation and creativity.
