Klaus Høeg-Hagensen, 55, will become CEO of JP/Politikens Hus from 1 December, replacing Stig Ørskov, who stepped down after more than 11 years. Ørskov will assume the role of CEO at the World Association of News Publishers in the new year.

Høeg-Hagensen was CEO of design company Gubi from 2020 until March 2025 and has previously held senior roles at Stofa, Egmont, and Jyllands-Posten. He described his return to the media sector as a homecoming, noting JP/Politikens Hus reaches half of Denmark's population weekly and is expanding internationally.
During his tenure at Gubi, Høeg-Hagensen navigated challenges including the pandemic, global inflation, geopolitical unrest, and logistical issues, though he was dismissed before overseeing the planned sale of the company.
Raoul Grünthal, chairman of JP/Politikens Hus, praised Høeg-Hagensen's track record across industries, highlighting his experience with consumers, digital transformation, and navigating change in a competitive media landscape.
JP/Politikens Hus publishes titles including Politiken, Jyllands-Posten, and Ekstra Bladet, and is owned by the Politiken and Jyllands-Posten Foundations.
