West Jutland furniture manufacturer Fumac has reported a decade of uninterrupted profitability since CEO Per Susgaard took the helm in 2015. The company, based in Vinderup, primarily produces office furniture for the contract market and private-label furniture for consumers.

The turnaround followed a period of losses after the 2008 financial crisis, with strategic changes including a stronger customer focus, cultural transformation, and operational improvements. The firm expanded into the residential segment in 2015, now representing 10–15% of revenue, helping stabilise growth.
Fumac's most recent fiscal results show a post-tax profit of DKK 3.5 million, with revenues peaking at DKK 10.1 million during the pandemic period. The company maintains production in Denmark, prioritising proximity to clients over lower-cost offshore options. Its largest export market is Norway, with additional sales through Danish office furniture retailers and international private-label partnerships.
Looking ahead, Fumac anticipates profits of 5–6 million DKK in the current fiscal year, maintaining its steady course established over the last decade.
