Innovation, sustainability and, above all, quality: this is what characterises the modern flooring industry. Across Europe, companies in the sector seek valuable connections to strengthen both their products and their market position. From that ambition, an event was born in 2021, at the initiative of a select group of founding fathers, which has since become the leading event in the sector. This year, it brought more than a hundred European brands and international buyers from 78 countries to Flanders. Anyone wanting to present their products and network with other players in hard and soft flooring should mark the next edition of Flanders Flooring Days in their diary.

Are you keen to meet Europe's leading flooring manufacturers and international buyers? Then there is only one address: Flanders Flooring Days. Since its inception in 2021, this premium business event has been growing steadily, with more and more exhibitors and visitors. More and more international participants also join in to present their latest collections. Thus, the Hub at Kortrijk Xpo and the participating on-site showrooms have become the gateway to European floor coverings. 72% of FFD2025 participants already booked their place for FFD 2026 today. The fifth edition in May 2026 will be the provisional highlight in the event's still young but significant history.
International buyers meet European producers
"Flanders Flooring Days is fast becoming Europe's leading flooring event," says Alessio Marco Ranaldo, Commercial Manager at Italy's ALMA CARPETS. "We meet professionals here who really understand the sector. That makes conversations more valuable and avoids superficial contacts. The quality of meetings here is simply higher than at any other fair in Europe."
The number of visitors continues to rise and in 2025 the number of exhibitors even increased by 20 per cent. Robert Siewes, Sales Manager at Egger, explains why European manufacturers should not miss this event: "Unlike large consumer trade fairs, this event offers the time and space to engage directly with the customers who really matter to us. We speak to professionals here, not passers-by, and can have targeted conversations about our latest collections." Appreciation is also high among exhibitors: 72 per cent have already booked a stand for the next edition. All indications are that the 2026 edition will be the biggest yet.
Flooring industry's natural habitat
"Flanders Flooring Days brings manufacturers together at a key location in Western Europe - exactly where the flooring industry naturally comes together," says Jonathan Middelkoop, R&D Manager at Dutch company Betap. "The market may be challenging, but that only increases the need to be present: showing who we are and showcasing the best of Betap. Our presence at Kortrijk Xpo is the perfect opportunity for that."
Besides meetings with top European manufacturers, visitors and exhibitors also enjoy an inspiring seminar programme. During the most recent edition, speakers gave insights into current trends, the thought processes behind them and focused on sustainability. The exclusive Flanders Flooring Night was also particularly popular with invitees.
