After postponing their opening by one day due to weather conditions:

Feria Hábitat València and Textilhogar 2025 kick off strongly

Feria Hábitat València and Textilhogar 2025 opened today with strong attendance and a vibrant business atmosphere, despite a one-day postponement caused by adverse weather conditions. Thousands of buyers filled the exhibition halls, making up for lost time with brisk international activity and packed aisles.

The official inauguration was led by the Regional Secretaries for Industry and Innovation of the Generalitat Valenciana, Felipe Carrasco and Jerónimo Mora. They were joined by Vicente Pons and José Manuel Revert, chairmen of the Organising Committees of Hábitat and Textilhogar, along with leading representatives from across the design and business community.

With more than one thousand exhibitors and brands from 21 countries, spread across eight fully occupied pavilions and covering over 96,000 square metres, this year's edition is among the largest to date. Buyers began placing orders from the opening moments, drawn to key highlights including Hotel Hábitat by designer Tomás Alía, celebrating Valencian architectural tradition, and Pinknic, a textile installation by Sigfrido Serra in collaboration with Interiores magazine.

The fair's rich programme has been compressed into three days with extended hours, featuring an array of high-profile launches, conferences, and installations. The Ágora nude, designed by José Manuel Ferrero, and the Hotel Hábitat auditorium are hosting talks from internationally acclaimed designers. These include Patrick Norget, unveiling new work for Point, Italian designer Monica Armani for Viccarbe, and Ramón Esteve, who premiered his latest creation for Vondom. Other highlights include the 'Women in Office Design' forum led by Actiu, and a hospitality-focused dialogue featuring Chinese architect Ben Wu and American interior designer Joshua Rice.

A dynamic agenda will continue through October 2, with events such as the first DIN Awards for National Interior Design, sustainability-focused presentations by AITEX, and showcases from leading studios and brands. Special features include book signings, live podcasts, afterwork gatherings, and Spanish Design Night at La Marina de València.

The energy on the opening day reflects the resilience and vitality of Spain's leading furniture, lighting, and textiles showcase, which remains a pivotal meeting point for international design, craftsmanship, and industry collaboration.
