Timeless design meets Scandinavian inspired furniture at Brussels Furniture Fair 2025

'We found our gap in the market, by producing good quality and offering fast delivery'

When CASØ Furniture arrives at the Brussels Furniture Fair this November, it won't just be another brand on display. The Danish, family-run company is bringing 15 years of resilience, personal connection, and a design philosophy that favours timeless quality over short-lived trends. 'Our DNA is as much about being personal as it is about making furniture,' says CEO Carsten Sørensen. 'Customers should not feel like a number, we want them to feel that they belong with us.'

This year's Brussels showcase will feature two new ranges designed to underline that philosophy. For Carsten, the fair is not only about showing products but also about strengthening CASØ's footprint in Western Europe. 'The fair is well established, well visited and a good opportunity for us to show our interest in the Benelux market, as well as the French, GB and German market where we see great potential.'

Family driven design
CASØ's story began in 2010, during the financial crisis. 'The bank asked me if I was totally sure about this, starting from 0, ' Carsten recalls. 'It was five years of hard work just to get everything rolling.' Today, steady growth, European production, and a focus on durability have turned that gamble into success.

Family remains central to the company, with Carsten, his wife Lisa, and both their fathers actively involved. 'It is perfect, because we each have our own arease of expertise that complement each other really well,' he notes.

Sustainability and quality are equally important. Nearly all production is European, with 60 percent coming from their own Polish production facility. Large production runs allow retailers to receive most orders within a week. 'Ninety-five percent of what we have in our assortment can be delivered from week to week,' Carsten explains. 'We try hard to create designs that last, and mostly we succees with that.' Some products have remained in the catalogue for over a decade, proof of their timelessness.

Spotlight on Brussels
At Brussels, CASØ will present two new ranges that capture the brand's signature mix of timeless design and practical innovation. One range draws inspiration from the kitchen industry, where cutting-edge fittings and finishes are first tested. 'We always have a close eye on the latest trends in the market, and when to react, it is all about the right design at the right time ' says Carsten. The result is pieces that feel contemporary yet accessible, with thoughtful attention to materials and functionality.

The second range reinterprets traditional woodworking techniques, especially milling and joinery, giving them a modern twist. 'We wanted to create something that is both elegant and durable,' Carsten explains. 'It is more design-driven, but we have also carefully considered pricing so it fits the current market.' Both ranges combine versatility and European-made quality, allowing retailers to showcase ready-to-sell pieces that are also built to last.

Beyond the products, the fair is a chance for CASØ to engage directly with buyers and understand the needs of new markets. 'For me, it is as much about how visitors see the new things, how they see our quality,' Carsten notes. 'If they could take away one impression, I would want it to be that this is a furniture family they belong with.'
