IKEA U.S. will open a new store in McAllen-Pharr on October 1, 2025, strengthening its presence in the Rio Grande Valley. Located in Pharr Towne Center, the 44,000-square-foot store offers over 1,600 products for immediate purchase, with the full IKEA range available online for home delivery or store pickup.

The store features an As-Is section for gently used or discontinued items, supporting sustainability, and provides personalised planning services for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, and small spaces. IKEA team members will assist customers in designing functional and stylish home solutions.
Javier Quiñones, CEO of IKEA U.S., highlighted the store's role in making affordable furnishings more accessible, while Market Manager Keena Garcia emphasised its importance for the local community. The grand opening will include giveaways, with the first 100 children receiving soft toys, and early visitors eligible for additional prizes. Regular hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Texas remains a key growth market for IKEA, which operates six stores, three Plan & Order points, and has two more stores opening soon in Rockwall and Dallas, reinforcing its commitment to accessibility, sustainability, and smart home solutions.
