Stark Group has strengthened its presence in Norway with the opening of a new flagship store in Sarpsborg, south of Oslo, marking the company's 20th location in the country. The 6,300-square-meter facility, operated by the subsidiary Neumann Byg, is Neumann's third store in the Oslo area and is designed to serve as a central hub for professional craftsmen throughout Eastern Norway.

The Sarpsborg store combines production, storage, and sales under one roof, with expertise drawn from Treprodukter Øst, a specialist company acquired by Neumann in 2022. The store also reflects Stark's commitment to sustainability, with a solar cell system of 1,480 panels generating 800 kWp, expected to produce around 700,000 kWh annually—sufficient to cover the facility's total energy needs. This initiative aligns with the group's long-term climate goals, including achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, and the store aims to achieve BREEAM certification in 2026.
Stark Group operates a total of 1,110 stores across Denmark, Germany, Austria, the UK, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, with an annual turnover of DKK 58 billion and 19,000 employees. The new Sarpsborg store represents an important step in expanding the company's footprint around the Norwegian capital, offering a comprehensive range of products and services for professionals in the building and woodworking sectors.
