Companies are taking a cautious approach toward investment and market strategies. Of the 57.6% whose investment plans are impacted, most (90%) have not yet changed their plans, while a small share plans to increase (6%) or reduce (4%) U.S. investments. Regarding market strategies, 30.1% are considering adjustments, and 7.1% have implemented changes.

Overall business confidence in Denmark remains stable at 103.5, marginally up from August's 103.3. However, shifts across sectors are notable: manufacturing confidence fell sharply to 92.0, its lowest since September 2023, while retail rose significantly to 105.9, and services increased to 107.9, reflecting ongoing resilience in consumer-facing industries. Construction held steady near 100.

The barometer indicates a cautious but steady climate, with industrial companies monitoring U.S. trade developments while maintaining confidence in broader economic conditions.
