Fredericia Furniture expands globally with new showrooms in Stockholm and Tokyo

Fredericia Furniture will open two new showrooms in October, strengthening its international presence alongside existing locations in London, Oslo, and Copenhagen. The expansion targets growing demand for furniture that blends Nordic design traditions with modern lifestyles, appealing to both contract clients and private customers.

Rasmus Graversen, CEO and third-generation owner, said the Stockholm showroom reinforces the brand's Nordic roots in a market that values craftsmanship and thoughtful design, while the Tokyo location offers opportunities to engage with a culture that shares a respect for materials and lasting quality. The new showrooms aim to bring Fredericia Furniture closer to designers, architects, and customers, promoting the company's heritage and shaping global Scandinavian lifestyle trends.

Since becoming CEO in May 2024, Graversen has overseen the acquisition of Snedkergaarden in Them, famed for traditional craftsmanship, including the production of Mogens Koch's iconic bookcases. This move strengthens Fredericia Furniture's in-house expertise and capacity for high-quality production.

The expansion represents a strategic step in combining local craftsmanship with global visibility, with particular focus on Japan, historically one of the company's largest export markets.
