The Archea network is strengthening its presence in Rennes, France, with the opening of a second showroom on rue de Châteaugiron, which officially opened on September 1, 2025. The new 100 m² space, managed by Sophie Merlin and Antoine Crinon, also centralizes logistics for both locations thanks to an adjoining warehouse.

Merlin and Crinon, who have been Archea franchisees since 2021, already operate the Archea Rennes Nord store on rue Saint-Malo. Between them, they bring over thirty years of combined experience in interior design, which has allowed them to develop strong technical expertise, a passion for design, and exceptional customer relations. During the 2020 lockdown, they decided to turn their entrepreneurial vision into reality, attracted to Archea's family-oriented values and French-manufactured products.
Encouraged by the success of their first store, the duo chose to expand with a second showroom located on a strategic south Rennes axis. According to Antoine Crinon, the new store responds to growing demand from local residents seeking personalized design solutions. Many customers are now looking for multifunctional furniture due to the widespread adoption of teleworking and are entrusting Archea with large-scale renovation projects, sometimes covering entire homes.
The construction of the new showroom required more than €150,000 in investment and proved more complex and time-consuming than the first location, with some work carried out personally by the franchisees. To support this growth, the team has been expanded with a new carpenter and a full-time showroom employee, and a technician position may be added next year. By the end of 2025, the managers also hope to offer customers an innovative virtual reality experience to help them better visualise their future projects.
With this expansion, Archea reinforces its local footprint in Rennes while continuing to provide custom, high-quality interior solutions for a growing customer base.
