Founded in 2008, Interno Design and Interior delivered interior solutions to well-known clients including Skodsborg Kurhotel, City Hotel Odense, and Hotel Svendborg. However, the COVID-19 pandemic severely impacted operations, leading owners Niels Pedersen and Michael Gregersen to attempt diversification into carpentry and joinery in 2020. That venture was dissolved in 2023, the same year Interno was renamed Cabina ApS in an unsuccessful restructuring effort.
The Danish Business Authority later demanded repayment of more than DKK 450,000 in excess COVID-19 support, further straining the company. At the time of its latest accounts, Interno employed two staff and carried debts of DKK 1.3 million.
The bankruptcy adds to a history of failed ventures linked to its owners, who have been associated with multiple liquidations and bankruptcies in Denmark's company registry (CVR).
