This November, Bellus brings its philosophy of slow living and modern design to the Brussels Furniture Fair

The Scandinavian sofa that redefines comfort is now setting its sights on Central Europe

'True luxury today isn't about gold or marble, it's about peace, balance, and having a space where you can simply be yourself,' says Raido Tormet, brand specialist and project manager at Estonian soft furniture brand Bellus. 'We design our sofas and beds as a counterpoint to the fast, noisy world. Home should not tell you to do more, it should invite you to feel good.'

Founded nearly 30 years ago, Bellus has grown into a household name across Scandinavia, particularly in Finland, Sweden, and Norway. With a growing presence in Central Europe, the brand continues to champion the same mission: creating spaces where people feel safe, calm, and recharged.

Bellus Comes to Brussels
This year marks Bellus' second appearance at the Brussels Furniture Fair, an important step in strengthening its Central European footprint. 'Belgium is the perfect hub for us, it connects our Scandinavian roots with markets in the Netherlands, France, and Germany,' Raido explains. 'Brussels is where we can meet trusted partners and connect with new buyers who are curious to discover Bellus.'

For the Bellus team, the fair is more than a showcase, it's a stage. Every detail, from stand design to the atmosphere created around the sofas, is carefully curated. 'The competition is strong and expectations are high. That's why we bring our very best to Brussels.' Raido adds.

Meet Eularia: A Statement of Comfort
At the center of this year's presentation is Eularia, Bellus' newest sofa, launched in early 2025 and already making waves in Scandinavia. With its generous depth, softness, and inviting design, Eularia is crafted for sinking in, whether for hours of conversation, a good book, or a lazy weekend movie marathon.

Movable armrests offer flexibility, while the proprietary Cloud Comfort System ensures a supportive yet luxuriously soft feel that sets Bellus apart. Available in a wide selection of fabrics and colors, Eularia adapts seamlessly to different lifestyles and interiors. 'It's not just a sofa, it's a statement piece, versatile yet striking, designed to make modern living feel effortless.' Raido says.

Alongside Eularia, Bellus will present its bestselling models and, for the first time in Central Europe, its collection of beds. 'We've always designed beds, but outside Scandinavia we're known mainly for sofas. Brussels could be the moment to reveal the full Bellus world of living.' Raido notes.

Looking Ahead
After nearly three decades in business, Bellus has proven its staying power in a crowded industry. 'Being here for nearly 30 years means we're doing something right,' Raido reflects. 'But our story is just beginning. With new designs like Eularia, a passionate team, and a focus on creating calm and comfort in people's homes, Bellus is ready to inspire Europe for decades to come.'
