Atlas Concorde doubles slab production and unveils major logistics hubs in Italy

Atlas Concorde has announced a significant new phase of its industrial development plan, strengthening its position as a leader in ceramic surfaces. The initiative will see major investments at its Italian production sites in Finale Emilia and Fiorano Modenese, with a combined total of more than €170 million invested over the past four years.

At the Finale Emilia plant, the company will complete the doubling of porcelain stoneware slab production capacity by the end of 2025. This will be followed in 2026 by a new logistics warehouse spanning 19,000 square metres, equipped with a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system of approximately 5,400 panels. This renewable energy installation is expected to cut CO₂ emissions by around 1,400 tonnes annually, underlining Atlas Concorde's commitment to sustainability.

Meanwhile, in Fiorano Modenese, across from the company headquarters, Atlas Concorde is creating a 100,000-square-metre logistics hub dedicated to slabs. The hub will feature one of the sector's most advanced automated and digitised warehouses, designed to fully support the expanded production capacity.

Together, these developments represent a €100 million investment in the slab sector alone, complementing modernisation projects for the tile production lines.

Commenting on the expansion, Maurizio Mazzotti, CEO of Atlas Concorde, said:
"In a context of great uncertainty and unpredictability, Atlas Concorde is looking to the future. Through this development plan, it confirms its long-term vision and its desire to position itself as a strategic, stable and reliable partner."

These initiatives reflect Atlas Concorde's dual focus: investing in cutting-edge production capacity while embedding sustainability at the heart of its operations. By integrating renewable energy and digitalised logistics, the company is reinforcing both environmental responsibility and global competitiveness in the ceramic design sector.
