The core of the estate is the Beverly Johnson House, designed in 1963 by Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright. An example of Mid-Century Modern and Organic architecture, the house integrates glass walls and sculptural forms with the landscape, emphasising a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces.

Lynch expanded the estate over the years, acquiring two neighbouring properties. One, at 7029 Senalda Drive, housed his Asymmetrical Productions studio, while the other, at 7035 Senalda Drive, served as a filming location for the "Madison residence" in Lost Highway (1997) and includes a private editing suite and screening room.

In 1991, Eric Lloyd Wright contributed a pool and pool house, maintaining architectural continuity. The compound also features a two-storey guest house and an independent residence finished in smooth grey plaster, a material Lynch favoured.

The resulting estate spans five lots, functioning as a private retreat, creative workshop, and cinematic set, demonstrating the intersection of architecture, art, and daily life in Lynch's world.
