JYSK is known for its great deals in Scandinavian bedroom and living. In the 2024/25 financial year, which ended in August, JYSK welcomed a record 13.7 million new customers. Together, they visited one of the more than 3,500 JYSK stores in 50 countries.
"I am very pleased with our sales results for the 2024/25 financial year. They clearly demonstrate the resilience and strength of the JYSK concept in a retail market under pressure from global uncertainties and low consumer confidence. We have made positive progress throughout the year with a focus on our customers, great offers, and a relevant and attractive product range. I would like to thank our fantastic employees for their hard work, dedication, and customer-focused approach," says Rami Jensen, President & CEO of JYSK.
Expansion outside Europe
In the spring of 2025, JYSK opened its first stores on the African continent, in Morocco. The first franchise store also opened in Uruguay. A total of 148 new stores were opened and investments were made in 303 store operations, including relocations, expansions of existing stores, and updates to the latest store concept 3.0.
"Expansion is in our DNA. We've managed to achieve record results while simultaneously investing in our existing and new stores, distribution centres, and competitive pricing for our customers. It's wonderful to see that our great offers have attracted a record number of new customers in Europe, Turkey, and Morocco," says Rami Jensen.
Top Employer
In the 2024/25 fiscal year, more JYSK countries than ever before received recognition or certification as a good employer. Awards such as "Top Employer," "Great Place to Work," and "Inspiring Workplace" were presented in 21 countries. A total of ten countries, including the Netherlands, received the "Top Employer" certificate, recognising JYSK as one of the best employers in Europe. Globally, JYSK was named one of Forbes' "World's Best Employers."
"We're building on our strong corporate values, and I'm proud that we're recognised as a workplace where employees are valued. With our financial results, investments in expansion, and our fantastic employees, I'm confident we'll remain the first choice for customers looking for a great deal in sleeping and living," concludes Rami Jensen.
