When the doors of the Brussels Furniture Fair open this November, Polish manufacturer Atreve will arrive with more than 40 fresh designs ready to be seen for the first time. The company, founded in 2016, has built its name on handmade dining chairs, benches, and armchairs, and this year's presentation marks an important moment. As export manager Magda Noculak puts it, 'These fairs are essential. Emails are not the same. Meeting in person builds real trust, creates new opportunities, and helps us solve challenges on the spot. For us, Brussels Furniture Fair is also a stage where we can show why Atreve is a unique.'

Listening and improving
Atreve has a habit of treating each fair as a testing ground. 'Last year we listened carefully to our B2B partners and made changes to the models,' says Magda. 'This year's stand proves that we don't just listen, we act. Every suggestion is valuable, and it directly shapes the way we develop our collections. That's what makes Atreve different, we grow together with our partners.' For architects, designers, and buyers, the message is clear: Atreve is not only showing new work, it is showing how responsive a manufacturer can be when it takes dialogue seriously.

Handmade in a world of automation
What makes this line-up even more striking is that every single piece comes from the hands of Atreve's 150 craftspeople. 'Everything is handmade in our factory,' Magda explains. 'Each person is directly involved in shaping the furniture.' At a time when automation dominates production, this emphasis on the human touch gives the products a distinct identity. Comfort is not overlooked either. 'We were the first to use a pocket spring system in dining chairs,' she adds, a detail that has set Atreve apart since its beginnings.

Flexibility as a design principle
The new range will continue to highlight Atreve's flexible approach to customisation. Fabrics, leg finishes, and materials can all be adapted, making each piece personal to the client. 'Our customers help us make the design,' says Magda. 'We give them full freedom, from fabrics of any supplier to individual leg finishes, even one-off pieces if needed. We see ourselves not just as a supplier, but as a partner who co-creates. That's what builds long-term relationships.' This philosophy positions Atreve as more than a supplier. It is a collaborator, one willing to let partners shape the outcome.

Looking ahead
For interior designers, architects, and retailers, Atreve offers a blend of tradition and innovation that is rare in today's market. Handmade craftsmanship sits comfortably alongside tested comfort technologies and a willingness to adapt. 'We really care about feedback,' Magda notes. 'Every suggestion helps us improve our handmade dining furniture and strengthen our B2B partnerships. Atreve combines innovation, craftsmanship, and customization, and that's what makes us stand out among European furniture manufacturers."
Atreve's story is a reminder that in a crowded industry, growth comes not only from new designs, but from how closely a company listens to the people it works with. Brussels will be another chapter in that story, and for many in the industry, it may be the first chance to see what makes Atreve's approach stand out.
