Ahorn's approach in the interior industry with their new collections

'The new Hyggea matress is to be unveiled next week'

"Comfort is more than a product, it's an experience." says David Vašulka, Head of Marketing at Ahorn, capturing the ethos of a Czech family-owned company with more than thirty years of tradition. At M.O.W. 2025, the brand demonstrated how its expertise in sleep solutions now extends to complete bedroom concepts, combining craftsmanship with innovation.

Moravia roots
Ahorn began with slatted bed bases and gradually expanded to mattresses, beds, and pillows, aiming to offer a comprehensive solution for sleep. "We want to provide partners with modern and attractive solutions that combine premium materials, comfort, and accessible design," explains David. By keeping production under one roof in the heart of Moravia, the company maintains close control over quality, design, and delivery reliability, an increasingly valued factor in today's supply chains.

New collection
At M.O.W., Ahorn unveiled its new pillow collection, designed to meet a variety of sleep needs with thoughtful ergonomics and breathable construction. Each pillow is crafted to support comfort and well-being, featuring soft, easy-care covers and innovative materials that promote relaxation and proper posture. The collection reflects Ahorn's commitment to combining practical functionality with attention to detail.

Building on this launch, the company will introduce its new Hyggea mattress in the week of 6 October. Designed as a premium addition to the range, it blends supportive foams with a breathable, cooling top layer that is antibacterial and antiviral, equipped with HealthTech® technology, an important innovation for hygiene and well-being, and a durable, hygienic cover. Available in different firmness options, Hyggea exemplifies Ahorn's focus on long-lasting comfort and quality, offering a versatile solution for a wide range of sleepers. "With these additions, we are continuing to explore how design and material choices can support comfort and well-being," says David. "I hope our clients are just as excited as we are at Ahorn."

Materials matter
Ahorn's commitment to quality begins with the materials. High-density foams, premium fabrics such as Tencel and Bamboo, and thoughtful ergonomic design form the backbone of every product. "Our focus has always been on ergonomics, durability, and aesthetics," David notes. This combination ensures that both partners and end customers find solutions that are functional, visually appealing, and long-lasting.

Human touch
Feedback from M.O.W. reinforced the company's direction. Visitors praised not only the products but also the approachable and supportive manner of the team. "The trade fair confirmed that our commitment to innovation and an honest approach is paying off," says David. For Ahorn, success is measured not only in product quality but also in being a reliable, and trusted partner for interior professionals.

By integrating new pillow designs with an upcoming premium mattress line, Ahorn demonstrates how a tradition rooted in Moravian craftsmanship can evolve to meet modern demands. As David concludes, "The trade fair reassured us that Ahorn is seen as a partner who combines quality, accessibility, and a human touch."
