The Cloud by Käfer at BMW Welt Munich has unveiled a distinctive dining experience that fuses culinary excellence with refined design and a meticulously planned lighting concept by Occhio.

The scheme has been developed to shape the spatial atmosphere while harmonising with the restaurant's sophisticated cuisine. Occhio described the approach as an interplay of "light, materiality, and form" designed to create a sense of floating lightness.
Above the dining tables, Luna sospeso luminaires appear to hover, producing a tranquil mood that sets the tone for the space. At the Biophilic Bar, Occhio's new Coro sospeso pendant luminaires deliver striking highlights, structuring the interior and drawing attention to the natural materials and ingredients that characterise the venue.
The lighting does more than provide ambience; it acts as a design element that defines the restaurant's visual and experiential identity. Occhio has launched a dedicated site to showcase the project, underscoring its significance in demonstrating how light can become integral to spatial design.
