Following the refusal, Sandhu claims he received threatening messages over six months, warning of violence and harassment at his showroom. CCTV footage of the May 2025 incident shows the assailant approach Sandhu in a restaurant before headbutting him.
"I was shocked," Sandhu told kbbreview, adding that he had previously dismissed the texts as empty threats. The attack has left him living in fear, prompting welfare checks where colleagues or family confirm his safety after visits to clients or sites.
Police have contacted Sandhu regarding the assault. He suggested that other kitchen retailers may have faced similar threats from clients, highlighting concerns over safety within the industry.
The incident has sparked discussions on the risks faced by design professionals when handling difficult or aggressive clients.
